El s?bado pasado en agradable compa??a, asist? a una proyecci?n de la espeluznante Troya de Wolfgang Petersen (Air Force One, La tormenta perfecta), adaptaci?n epid?rmica de Homero con un gui?o final a la Eneida.
Hab?a le?do pestes sobre el gui?n de David Benhioff, sin embargo la confusa caricatura del hijo de Peleo, que a base de saltitos parec?a capaz de conquistar por s? solo toda Ili?n, desechando la ayuda de los embustes equinos de un trist?simo Odiseo (Boromir de otra historia), fue bastante peor de lo que yo esperaba.
Teniendo en cuenta el precedente, espero con bastante recelo el “Alejandro el Grande” de Oliver Stone, un proyecto de 150 millones de d?lares, cuyos protagonistas ser?n Colin Farell (S.W.A.T., Daredevil) como Alejandro Magno, Val Kilmer como Filipo de Macedonia y Angelina Jolie en el papel de Olimpia.
Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge), encabezaba un proyecto paralelo sobre Alejandro con Leonardo DiCaprio y Nicole Kidman para los principales papeles. Sin embargo parece que ha decidio abandonarlo, al ver que la pel?cula de Stone est? ya muy adelantada.
En 1956, Robert Rossen (All the king?s men), fue el encargado de realizar la primera biograf?a f?lmica de Alejandro el grande, con actores de la talla de Richard Burton, Fredric March y Danielle Darrieux.
Oliver Stone demostr? en JFK, Nacido el 4 de julio y Nixon, que no se le dan nada mal las reconstrucciones hist?ricas, veremos de lo que es capaz en su primera experiencia con el mundo cl?sico. Al parecer se atrever? con el tema tab? de la historia de Alejandro, su evidente bisexualidad.

Un apunte hist?rico: en aquella ?poca eran todos bisexuales, quer?an pillar con j?venes efebos y ninfas. Les daba igual unos que otras.
