Surfer Rosa (1988) es el t?tulo del segundo ?lbum, el primero que yo escuch?, de Pixies.
La portada y el libreto de “Surfer Rosa”, as? como las de otros dos discos de Pixies, “Come on Pilgrim” (1987) y “Doolittle” (1989), est?n ilustradas con obras del fot?grafo afincado en Londres Simon Larbalestier, cuyo surrealista trabajo junto a Vaughan Oliver enmarca de manera excelente el sonido de Pixies.
A trav?s de El frasco de Odio he descubierto el portafolio on-line de Simon Larbalastier en el que se pueden encontrar sus trabajos para Pixies y otras obras de gran calidad.
Seg?n se anuncia entre las noticias de la web de Larbalestier, las portadas de los discos ser?n exhibidas el pr?ximo viernes durante la actuaci?n de Pixies en el Primavera Sound, la primera en Europa en su gira de “resurrecci?n”.
